This is the official site of the WJKA in the USA.



The WJKA is a non-political organization and based 
on Shotokan Karate taught by world famous Master Tetsuhiko Asai when he was the technical director of 
the Japan Karate Association and subsequently the leader of the JKA-Asai/Yahara group.

We welcome all traditional Karate practitioners and dojos in the USA who wish to practice Shotokan Karate in a non-political and open environment.

This site provides information about our organizations, activities and philosophies as well as assistance to those who are interested in becoming affiliated 
with us.
